The Morven

The Morven is a traditionally styled storey and half villa, ideally suited to a site with land/views to the rear. With the main public rooms aspect being to the rear, they have large glazed areas to take full advantage along with sheltered French Doors to provide easy access to the garden. While it is a family home in every sense, it’s majestic entry and large feature Dining Hall, acts as the core around which serious entertaining can take place.

Upstairs, a Gallery area looks over the front GF Hallway. The Master Bedroom suite is spacious and practical. Illustrated here with a Super King sized bed (to scale) it demonstrates that space is not an issues here. It is complimented by having it’s own En-Suite Shower-room and a walk in Closet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are also generous, and a smaller fifth Bedroom, can alternatively be amended to be an En-Suite to bedroom 2. A Family Bathroom completes the upper floor arrangement.

Like all our designs, it can be finished with horizontal cedar cladding (as illustrations) or has many options including vertical Board & Batten, alternative timber profiles; render; masonry; or a combination of these. We have designed it with a wall ‘u’ value of 0.12 Wm²K; high levels of insulation otherwise, and low ‘u’ windows, ensuring low running costs.
